In the light of Wah'y :
(And when they hear the vain talk, they avoid it and say: our deeds are for us and your deeds are for you. Peace be on you. We do not seek the ignorant.” (28 : 55“

His Excellency the High Commissioner of Pakistan.
High Commission of Pakistan,

Your Excellency,

Assalaamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuh.

I am writing this to express the heartfelt grief of All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama when Your Excellency’s motherland experiences the unbearable impact of the calamity that took place when the whole Muslim Ummah observes the Ramadhan fasting.

Let me remind Your Excellency of the words of Allah Subhaanahu Wata’ala that could console the wounded hearts of the brethren of Pakistan - “And we shall surely test you with aught of fear and hunger and loss in riches and lives and fruits; and bear thou glad tidings to the patient”. (2:155).

The All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama holds its hands together with the entire Muslim Ummah to pray for Pakistan and requests Your Excellency to seek refuge and help in patience and prayer. Surely Allah is with the patient.

May Almighty Allah bestow his limitless bounties on Pakistan.

Wassalaamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuh.

Yours faithfully,

Ash-Shaikh H.Abdul Nazar
General Secretary,
All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama
